An Earth Day Walk

In honor of Earth Day, I thought we could go on a virtual walk. Pops of spring colors are beautiful from sunrise throughout the day!

Tuesday Tablescape

I am hopping in to show you today's tablescape.

I love these bunny plates which I purchased several years ago at Home Goods. I find the colors pleasing and the rabbits sweet.

Although these wooden words typically rest across a dinner plate, I also like them angled.

The best part of today's table is my lovely floral arrangement, which was a special gift given to me last night during my church board meeting.

I rested the vase on a silver platter we received as a wedding gift. The striking combination of flower colors brings a smile to my face. Doesn't it look beautiful with the tablescape?

                           Be blessed!

Tuesday Tablescape

Spring continues with today's tablescape. If you have read my blog for any length of time, you will recognize this lovely pattern that lends itself perfectly to this time of year. This was my paternal grandparents' wedding china.

The centerpiece is a simple bouquet I gathered from our yard. The forsythia, cherry and saucer magnolia stems mixed with Lenten rose, narcissus and hyacinth flowers all look so cheery to me and complement the dishes.

I hope you had a pleasant day!

A Springtime Porch

My mother has had her porch ready for spring since just after St. Patrick's Day. Isn't it nice to see signs of the new season? The bulbs and flowering trees are beginning to provide such welcome sights!

There are tulips on the door and...

colorful rain boots filled with springtime boughs!

Even the fairy garden is ready!

                 Spring is in the air!
