An American Journey (part 1)

We were recently able to get away  on a road trip and it was delightful! We had several destinations along our route but first, we were able to visit with relatives we hadn't seen in way too long. There's nothing better than catching-up with family to fondly recall stories of the past, all while making new memories... and that's just what we did.

After we spent time with our dear ones, we began our journey across northern Indiana, popping into Ohio and zipping into Michigan. We made more good memories along the way.
Note the older class A they currently have on display outside the building. It's from the 70s and is complete with its own yellow interior and shag carpet! 😊

Our first stop was the RV Museum and Hall of Fame. Located in Elkhart (IN), it's an impressive collection of 60 recreational vehicles spanning from 1913 to more current. Here are a couple of pictures of older models and a mid-century example.

The inside of the museum is cleverly designed like a road to represent the American Journey, making it an appropriate stop on our getaway!

I will cover a few of our other stops in future posts. Until then, I hope you have some good memories from an American Journey you have taken!

Have a wonderful day!
