A Seasonal Tiered Tray

My mother put together this tiered tray by using two clear glass plates on a double pie/plate rack.

I love vintage pieces and the Santa mug on the top "tray" is definitely that. My sister and I used to drink cocoa from these cups when we were growing up so long ago! My mother used to give each of her students a Santa mug like this when she taught school before I was born. 

A red linen napkin and mini candy canes are nestled in the mug while packets of cocoa and a demintasse spoon are ready to go.

On the bottom she used faux pine with four poinsettia tea lights around the edge. By the way, did you know that tomorrow is National Poinsettia Day? A handful of Hershey Kisses add a pop of color to the center and tie-in with the cocoa theme.
