Decorating...K.I.S.S. Style

You may recall when I shared our "thankful tree" several weeks ago which I completely adorned in dried plant material. 

Still in its place in the solarium, all I had to do after Thanksgiving was refresh the decor...and I did it K.I.S.S. style. A friend refers to the "Keep It Simple, Sister" approach in life and that is what I did in this room for the season.

My granite candles were already on the wooden slab, so all I did was add sprigs of faux pine and a few dried botanicals.

I brought out my reindeer and added more faux pine and real dried elements to carryout the tree theme.

The owl pillow cover is one I have had for a long time and seemed to add to the woodland feel of this room.

A handmade throw from a special family member adds a cozy feel to this chair. By the way, pardon the patio fountain outside the window which is wrapped for winter.

It took very little time to get the solarium prepared for Christmas thanks to the K.I.S.S. method. 😘
