It's time for a cup of tea! Today's table was inspired by a gift from a sweet friend who recently gave me a box of her grandmother's dainty hankies, lovely gloves, pretty scarves and crisp lace collars. I decided to pull out a few of the treasures to use on the patio for a good, old fashioned tea table.
Each place setting features a family teacup from my collection.
Scattered on the table are some of her gloves.
Wouldn't you love to learn the story behind the hankies and gloves on this table? We could talk about their history while we sat outside on this lovely June day because, as the homemade gift bag says, it's time for a cup of tea!
