We have had this grapevine angel for years. In fact, I think we bought her shortly after we were married, so she's been displayed for many Christmases. She always looks nice on the porch, but I decided to try her in our driveway planter this time.
I picked-up some fresh boughs from our favorite garden/produce shop and nestled them at the base to spruce it up!
All summer, this concrete planter is filled with bright moss rose flowers, but once the season is over it needs something to tide-it-over until spring. The angel seems to fit in pretty well and I like her there for the Christmas season where she will welcome our guests.
Angels we have heard on high,
Sweetly singing o'er the plains
And the mountains, in reply,
Echoing their joyous strains.
