I am going to redo the mantel and knew I wanted to somehow incorporate a butterfly in the design since I am dotting the house with them for the remainder of the summer. I envisioned using a butterfly print so I had an idea. I went online and searched for free printables until I found something I liked.
I was happy with the colors in the combination of flowers and the butterfly, so I copied and saved the image. Then Randy printed it for me on his plotter so that I would have a size suitable for its purpose. We adhered it to heavy chipboard so that I could display it on an easel.
Now that it's ready to go in place, I just have to figure out how the rest of the mantel is going to look!
