Our tablescape is in honor of yesterday's baseball home opener for the St. Louis Cardinals! Here in town, it's equivalent to a holiday. No one celebrates this event like St. Louis! People wear red whether they are able to attend the game, or not, and everyone is wrapped-up in the pomp and circumstance. It's all Cardinals all day, but we are known as a baseball city.
Using my everyday white ware and Christmas red cloth, I shopped Randy's office for the centerpiece. Handy! I already had the Cardinal paper napkins.
The fact that we won yesterday's game was the icing on the cake.
