An Easter Basket

Many years ago, my in-laws gave us a couple of childhood Easter baskets which had belonged to Randy and his sisters. I usually fill one with faux eggs, but decided to do something new this year. After rummaging through my stash of floral stems, I stuck some spring bulbs  in a block of florist foam and top-dressed it with a bed of Spanish moss.

I added my cute little bunny and his egg house.

Look at the style and shape of this basket.

I love using family pieces, which all have a story. While it's been a long time since this basket has held Easter treats for
Randy, I think it's nice that it is still enjoyed today!

What family pieces are special to you?
Have a wonderful weekend!
